Career Guidance Cell

Purpose of the CC&PC :

The CC&PC in Govt. Degree Colleges Bhoranj will function to provide guidance/counselling and assistance to students to achieve their career goals and secure their careers. It will consist of representatives from the faculty of each Stream and student community and will act as a crucial link between the academic program of the students and suitable employment opportunities for them accordingly. It will provide awareness about higher studies, self-employment and job opportunities. The CC&PC will take adequate steps in identifying the current demands of industry/market/organizations/PSUs and will prepare and guide students to opt for the academic course(s) of studies according to their previous performances/preference and also as per the assessment of students by the CC&PC Team. The Cell will provide skill-based support & guidance to the students to prepare them for getting placement in reputed firms. It will also help students to build self-confidence and prepare them to compete in current market situations/demands. The CC&P Cell will play a crucial role in helping Undergraduates and Postgraduates students locate job opportunities by keeping in touch with reputed firms/organizations and industrial establishments and the Administrative set-up of Govt. Depts. The Placement Cell will operate around the year to facilitate communication and contacts between employment offering firms/companies/PSUs etc. and the College students.
