Career Guidance Cell

Purpose of the CC&PC :

The CC&PC in Govt. Degree Colleges Bhoranj will function with the objective of providing guidance/counseling and assistance to students to achieve their career goals and secure their career. It will consist of representatives from the faculty of each Stream and from student community, and will act as a crucial link between academic program of the students and suitable employment opportunities for them accordingly. It will provide awareness about higher studies, self employment and job opportunities. The CC&PC will take adequate steps in identifying the current demands of industry/market/organizations/PSUs and will prepare and guide students to opt academic course(s) of studies according to their previous performances/preference and also as per the assessment of students by the CC&PC Team. The Cell will provide skill-based support & guidance to the students so as to prepare them for getting placement in reputed firms. It will also help students to build self-confidence and prepare them to compete in current market situations/demands. The CC&P Cell will play a crucial role in helping Under Graduates and Post Graduates students to locate job opportunities by keeping in touch with reputed firms/organizations and industrial establishments and Administrative set up of Govt. Depts. The Placement Cell will operate round the year to facilitate communication and contacts between employment offering firms/companies/PSUs etc. and the College students.
